My favourite colours are red and green, which are complementary. I cannot explain why I am drawn to this pair of color. Like the colors that are opposite to each other, I seem to have an unconscious aspect of myself that is a part of me, but that I am not aware of. Through this work I show the process of making myself as “the other”.

私の好きな色は赤と緑。これら対極的な2色がなぜ好きなのか、その理由は良く分からない。自己の中に潜む無意識、自分のことなのに自分では分からない部分は、まるで自らの内部に他者がいるようでもある。この作品では自分が自分で予測し得ない自分(他者)を生み出すプロセスを表している。
